The Interleukin-1 (IL-1) is a cytokine which plays a central role in the regulation of immune and inflammatory responses to infections genesis of fever.
It is produced by a wide variety of cells, including macrophages, dendritic cells, T and B cells. The immune regulatory role of IL-1beta is exerted on a wide range of cells including lymphocytes, epithelial cells and fibroblasts. In vivo, it induces hypotension, fever, and acute phase response.
Interleukin-1 beta Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 153 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 17500 Dalton. The IL-1b is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
